How can I Export Data?

Exporting data from Aphex Planner can be done in two ways. Depending on your goal and Aphex Tier you may select either pathway.

Plan Export

Plan Export will output your plan, task by task with any Project Data assigned to those tasks. This Task level information can be used to analyse plans in other planning tools or even to update the master schedule.

Step 1: Prepare Your Filter - ensure that you are on the Plan page with the section of the plan you wish to export within your filter.

Step 2: Navigate To Export - Open the project menu and select Export

Step 3: Select Export Plan - Select the Export Plan option and optionally select a snapshot comparison.

Did you know? Exporting a Snapshot will output each task with the start and finish date of the current plan plus the start and finish dates from the snapshot. A really handy tool for updating the Master Schedule

Step 4: Export - Easy. A CSV will be ready for download containing all the Plan data from your filter.

To Export Plans older than 30 days ago, a project needs to be Planner Standard or Enterprise

Performance Data and Delay Export

Delay Export will output project Performance Data at a task day level. What does that mean? Whilst Aphex Planner holds basic plan data at a task level (e.g. Subcontractor or Location), Performance Data (e.g. delays, actual quantities installed) are recorded against every day of every task. Hence task day level.

Delay Export will output your selected filter with each task day as a row in a CSV. This data can be directly linked to reporting spreadsheets or BI and analysis tools (link to analyse page).
